Commercial Rental – Notice to Quit
I am renting a Commercial space in Georgia, and have gone from a lease to month-to-month as of about a year ago.

My landlord informed me that she would be sending a 45 day notice. I had understood that 60 days was required.

She claims that the law is 45 days for month-to-month agreements.

The only information I can find is regarding residential rentals, where 60 days is required. Is the law different for commercial property?

There is nothing in my lease that specified a minimum amount of time.

Thanks for your time.

Eviction of Tenants.

Eviction of Tenants.
I just bought two investment properties in Spalding CO., Ga. I need to evict present tenants to do total renovations,(probably). How long must I give them to vacate premises? 30 days was the notice i gave them ,I was told by them they get 60 days by law, which is it? I cant find the answer anywhere, they have NO LEASE of any kind, verbal month to month, basis at an exremely LOW rent, the rent will go up!

thanks, laklvr4x4

Major kitchen remodel
I currently rent a house and have been here over a year, so my lease is month to month. My landlord is planning to rip out the kitchen and put in a new one. I work out of my home fulltime and cannot afford the disruption. I also do not want to have the expense of the family eating out every meal for months. I think that my landlord expects me to pay the full rent during the remodel. What are my options?
