30 or 60 Notice, on a month to month?
Hello. My question is, If an apartment complex mis-placed a lease agreement and the tenant never recieved a lease copy and they have the tenant on a month-to-month. Can the tenant pay the month to month amount and give the apt. complex a 30 day notice and vacate the apartment in the state of GA? Without ruinning rental history or credit rating? Thank you, Spencer

expired leases
The apt. complex where I have resided or 6 years let quite a few leases expire (including mine) a couple of years ago. I received a letter from the current manager dated April 9 stating that it should be considered my ”60 day notice” to sign another lease or I would be considered a ”month to month” renter. I am in the process of finding a house to buy. Since the 60 days are not up until June 8th, could I pay my regular rent on 6/1 and sign the lease on 6/7 if I have not found a house by then?

Lessor and lessee dispute
A renewal letter of lease agreement was not signed by lessee, as per our original writen contract a month to month tenancy exists with all the terms and conditions in effect. The lessee gave no writen notice of vacating but did give a 15 day verbal notice. Terms of contract state a 45 day written notice. Also, the dwelling was not left in a ”good state” of condition. They indicated they did not want their deposit back, but would not pay us any more money. They moved out & called to Jan 1 to tell us where the keys are located which we have collected. Are we are entitled to 1 more months rent? We will need about $450 to repair & clean the house. Since the contract says ‘written notice’ can we hold them to it?

corporation & identity theft
Recently, my identity information was stolen by an employee of a major corporation. They claim they have no responsibility and are offering $162 in fee reimbursement in exchange for a hold harmless/final. While I have no plans for future claims, is the company responsible for further charges or anything? I would love to find a resource page regarding this. I live in Georgia.
