Advance Health Care Directive for Bi-Polar Patient Living Alone
I have a friend who I have recently become reaquainted with after both of us moved back to the same small town and she has been diagnosed with bi-polar disease 5 years ago. She is not a stable person and has recently been released from a psychiatric hospital. She no longer lives with her boyfriend, and is lucid enough to know that she needs someone to ”be in charge” of her. She has asked me to be her power of attorney and she has asked me to have an Advance Health Care Directive made up for her and she will sign it. My hesitation is this: Am I legally responsible for any bad things she might do financially if I am her power of attorney? I do not want to be held liable if she should for some reason go charge all of her credit cards up. Other than that, I do not have hesitation in doing this–I just really need to make sure that no one can hold ME personally or legally responsible for any actioins she might take that are negative with me being her power of attorney. I really need an anser ASAP because she is not taking her meds and this would be a way that I can get her help…

Divorce decree indemnification
I was divorce a little over 3 months ago, in which my ex-wife was to take over possesion and payments of the house, her car, and a joint credit card. All three of these are in both of our names.

My ex-wife lost her job (because of having sexual relations in the office) before she signed the divorce papers. Therefore she has made no attempt at paying even one payment to any of the three debtors.

My lawyer does not seem that interested in pursuing any damages that this has caused. Should I get another lawyer or is this just justice?

Evition Notices in my state how would the eviction process work.

Evition Notices
in my state how would the eviction process work. cause i haven’t paid rent yet this month and the month isn’t even over and i got a eviction notice on the 21st of july sayin i had to be out by the 26th of july. so i have less than a week to move when the month isn’t even over and this is the first and only time i have ever not paid or been late on rent. My lease covers nothing on eviction it only has information on abandonmant. now i’m pretty sure that the land lord has to give me at least 2 weeks to a month to vacate the property. another thing is that i was never handed the eviction notice instead it was givin to someone who isn’t even on the lease. is this legal to do or what here. and my lease is month to month if that makes a difference?

Property purchase My so has or thought he had purchased a house on land contract.

Property purchase
My so has or thought he had purchased a house on land contract. He is 18 years old answered an add for a home which was advertised as land contract/rent to own. This is his first attempt to leave home. He met with the property owner, Scoot at a gas station and gave him some personal information, including SS#. This was supposed to be for a credit check to see if he was worthy of the land contract. After that Scott told Kevin(son) to meet with this guy named Matt in order to sign papers at a Buger King restaurant. This was supposed to be the land contract. Now my son, 18 not knowing what he was doing signed papers, never getting any advice from an adult. He has had second thoughts about the affordability of this venture, finally asked me to look over his contract in order to see how binding it was. When I opened his file, first thing I saw was a title search. Triggering a panicked reaction. Sure enough what he had was a mortage contract, claiming that he applied over the phone. Kevin had never spoken with Matt prior to thier meeting at Burger King. So I am very curious as to how he recieved a loan that was never applied for by him anyway? Is he stuck with this house or has Scott and possibly Matt committed fraud?
