Commercial Tennancy in England
My business occupies space on the land owned by one of our Shareholders’ pension fund. He is also occupying the rest of the area with his own business (much Larger than mine) and has recently sold out to a larger concern. My business was not part of that deal and subsequently I’ve been given verbal notice to quit. I’m a manufacturer and employ local people (3). I’ve been on site for over 10 years. We have a bespoke business that has some value to our client base. There is, however, no lease agreement as at the time, we probably all thought we would remain on site together until retirement and the subject was never discussed. This was my first business and i was not aware of the implications of having no written agreement. Now we face eviction and I know the costs of transfer would be around £10,000 – £15,000 which would force us to close with all the problems that would bring. I’m very concerned about the future and wonder if we can be simply thrown out whenever it suits. I am still friendly with the principals but clearly wish to defend my position and seek full repairation/compensation to cover the enforced move. Have I and my business any rights in this instance?

executors
what can I do if I beleive the solicitor who is the executor of a will to which I am the beneficiary is and has not performed specific duties. These solicitors are supposed to have sent a letter of indemnity to an insurance company in the UK in order that the policy monies be released to me. I have spoken to the insurance company who tell me that these documents are still awaited, despite the fact that I went to a court in cyprus and got these done and gave them to the solicitors back in august 2006. But it has been over a year that these solicitors knew about the policy. Now I cant reach them by phone for the last two weeks. Also is it a legal formality that when monies came into the solicitors to pay off things the solicitors without asking changed the currency and took monies without telling me and no bill was given to me.

Willed property
My uncle left me his shares in a business and some property shortly before he died of a brain tumour. He was medically examined at the time of making the will to ensure he wasn’t confused. His tumour meant he had episodic confusion.
Following my uncles death, his brother claimed that all the shares had been sold to him at a period after he willed the shares to me and before his death.
they provided a signed bill of sale and said they had paid my uncle £50,000 cash. He was bedbound at this point and had difficulty talking and comprehending. No-one witnessed the transaction and no-one saw any cash. He had carers every day, they saw nothing.
Can I challenge this?
My uncle’s brothers solicitor said it was a valid bill of sale and he did not need a medical examination to sell his property. What can I do in this situation?
