7 days to vacate
I was property manager for a management company on a month to month lease contract (which we both signed). In September the new property supervisor fired us without any cause or warning, he basically handed us a letter and told me to vacate in 7 days!? I was stunned and disheartened but left to avoid getting an eviction on my record. Can I sue them for anything? Were any laws broken?

if you were not deemed an “at will” employee, and your employment terms were mandated by virtue of a written employment agreement, then the terms of that agreement will be controlling. a legal review of your employment agreement will determine if you have any legal rights you were denied or if this company has “broken any laws” or breached their signed contract with you. if you would like a legal review of of your employment contract, email us today with your contact information only for a free phone consultation.
