Divorce decree indemnification
I was divorce a little over 3 months ago, in which my ex-wife was to take over possesion and payments of the house, her car, and a joint credit card. All three of these are in both of our names.

My ex-wife lost her job (because of having sexual relations in the office) before she signed the divorce papers. Therefore she has made no attempt at paying even one payment to any of the three debtors.

My lawyer does not seem that interested in pursuing any damages that this has caused. Should I get another lawyer or is this just justice?

Your lawyer is acting appropriately. It is unlikely that the court will find her in contempt after only three months and especially if she is unemployed. The reason that she is unemployed is not relevent. In fact, your ex could very easily choose to file bankruptcy and then you would be stuck with all joint debt. Your best bet at this point is to, if you can, try and make the payments yourself and once she finds employment seek reimbursement then. If she wont pay you back at that point, then seek contempt.
