Legal Malpractice?

Legal Malpractice?
2 years ago I was named as a third party in a long standing law suit between a client and contractor. Their law suit had nothing to do with me and has been going on for several years now. Almost 2 years ago I was named as a third party in this suit by the client’s attorney. I immediately sent copies of all signed contracts, disclaimers, indemnification forms, etc. to the client’s attorney to prove I had nothing to do with this case. However, they proceeded and named me anyway. Nearly 2 years later and at a cost of over $20,000 to me, the client’s attorney dropped us from the suit because we indeed had nothing to do with the case. Can I now sue for wrongfully naming me in this suit and try to recoup my legal fees?

attorney mishandled 2 cases
we had a forclouser suit going on a land contract we held. the plaintiff filed false criminal charges so we had to hire a attorney, I hired a cpa and paid her, she was called to court to testify and turned out she had a 45 min conference call with the oponit’s father. she did not do the cpa work yet showed to court twice as the expert witness. her daugther did the work, we do not know if she was a cpa. We lost 1/2 of what we were owed. Our atty’s. partner told us we had a suit against the cpa, he sought us out and we filed a suit against the cpa, he said he would be paid through the money from the suit, we still had to pay him some upfront. we did not have a contract, the judge said at 3 different hearings he had never heard of a person suing their expert witness. the attorney did not show up at the first 2 hearings he sent someone else each time and they were not up on the case. each time the judge made the statement the attorney should have found a case law. in the end we were out nearly 10,000.00, we are now being billed for over $4,000.00 not including what we paid him. Our daughter also had a claim against him and we have both filed a grievence against him, we don’t know how to file the counter questions. we need an attorney
