New Owners Will Change Records at Courthouse
We previously owned a mobile home in Illinois. This was sold to a young couple in 2003. We have received the mobile home tax bill every year since. The new owners have always paid the tax, but have not yet bothered to change the records at the courthouse. I know that they need to take the title there in order to get the records changed. I called the manager of the mobile home park and had her relay this information to them. I was told by the courthouse that unless someone brings the title there showing that they are the owners then it will remain in my husband’s name. What can I do about this? We no longer live in the state of Illinois which makes the problem a little more complicated. Thanks

Refinancing a property
When my late husband passed away 10 years ago, the ground we owned was in his name and the mobile home that we lived in was in mine. When we were all finished with the estate, ect. I ended up with a property of 31 acres that is owned by my children (one is now 19 and the other is 16). I am trying to refinance and the day before closing I am told that I need to have the children taken off of the deed. How do I go about doing this in a rather quick manner.

The deal was done in Arizona, but I live in Texas. I have contacted the BBB, but she will not get back to them. How do I get my money back? I have called her several times. Shes keeps saying she will send out a check, but I have not recieved one.

Deed of Trust My husband’s father is a co-signer on our mobile home.

Deed of Trust
My husband’s father is a co-signer on our mobile home. The bank also required his dad to sign a deed of trust. Our home was then placed on my father-in-laws land where he also has a home. He is now saying he is going to sell the property we live on. Our loan is for 20 yrs. and we have only been here for 31 payments. Can he sell the property with our loan holding a deed of trust and leave us with no where to go?
