Signing a contract
I signed a rental lease yesterday, and now I have changed my mind and do not wish to live there for personal reasons, is there an amount of time that I have to back out? I was told I have 3 days or 3 business days to back out of a contract. Is that true?

It is 3 days – but do you have a copy of the contract? Look at it and see what it says about cancellations. Make sure you put your cancellation IN WRITING and have proof that it was delivered or mailed to the landlord, such as by certified mail.
There may be a cancellation penalty – so look at your contract for that as well.
