the house I rent is being forclosed on
I have tried to view the answer for the question I asked on Friday and for some reason I can not do so. So I am trying to ask it again. I read the first part that I could and the answer conflicts with an answer I received a week ago. Can someone please help? Thank you
I have lived in a rental house for 45 days. I am on a verbal agreement for month to month. I gave the landlord a 2000 deposit cashiers check with my first months rent. He said it will be used as my last months rent. I have paid March and April with cashiers checks with my landlords name on them. I have copies. I received a Notice of trustees sale on my door on last Tuesday saying the house I live in will be going to auction on the fifith of may. My landlord said everything is fine and he is negotiating with the banks. But another property that he owns also had this notice so I dont really believe him. I am going to go to the sale on the fifth. What do I do? Do I pay rent on the first or wait. How long do I have to stay in the house. Please guide me in the right direction. How do I go about getting the 2000 back?Should I get out as soon as I can?
Is someone going to come and throw all my stuff out? I am scared
