Buying a home
We purchased a mobile home in a mobile home community. The owners were supposed to be out on Thursday 10/25/07, they have ran into several things that is holding them there. My husband even volunteered to drive the moving van to Tennessee for them, because the person that was supposed to drive it was not able to. The elderly woman and her belongings are on there way to Tennessee. Her son is still in the mobile home. His mother has paid lot rent until 11/1 but I now own the mobile home. Am I able to ask him to leave? He was never the owner and was not on the lease with the community.

What rights do Mobile home park managers have?

What rights do Mobile home park managers have? I am trying to sell my mobile home, they came & did an inspection. There is a list of things that I am to do befor I can sell it. My son was turned down to buy it, because he has no credit history for past 5 yrs. They pulled his credit report from 15+ yrs ago & denied him entrance because of an accident then. How can they do this? I recently married and we decided to move closer to jobs. The managers of Park have turned down 2 others for varies reasons,(they say is not my concern) We are now paying for 2 places, which is a financial hardship for us. Is there anything I can do?

where can I find legal help I have filed a complaint against the mobile home…

where can I find legal help
I have filed a complaint against the mobile home park I use to live in. I am sueing for personal property loss and for the inconvience they caused me. An electrical fire totally destroyed my home of 15 yrs. fire marshall report stated in was caused by electrical equipment failure which is the mobile home parks responsibility to keep in proper working condition. count one was negliance, count two was premises liablility. which I was told had a three years filing limitation. all my physical evidences is gone just pictures that were taken at the time of the fire. Plus years of letters written to the mobile home park disputing the out of range electrical bills. My problem is I am having great difficulty finding a lawyer to help me. I called the Orange County bar association twice and they said no one could help me. Now the mobile home company of course has responded to the complaint. And i am not trying to be a lawyer but I am on social security disability and do not have any money. And I know I can’t win my case with out an attorney. Is there any hope or help that I might find to assist me. or will I loose because I don’t have enough money to fight them. Please try I have to be back in court on Dec. 2, 2008 thank you for your time.

My daughter moved into a mobile home a year ago.

My daughter moved into a mobile home a year ago. There had been roaches before she moved in and the managment had it sprayed.

There were other small problems also and the managment still hasn’t taken care of these some of the problems until now.

The mobile home still has roach problems and even though my daughter has called to get her home sprayed, several times, the office blames the bug company for not coming out. The roaches are now in the yard and it seems the problem is getting worst.

One of the small problems when they moved in were two weak spots in the flooring. One in the kitchen and one in the master bathroom. My daughter has continued to ask them fix it, along with the other minor problems but nothing has gotten done.

My daughter’s boyfriend has gone through the kitchen hole. The management has now told my daughter that in order to fix the weak flooring and the hole, they will have to move out and has offered them another mobile home that is a lower quality trailer that has been treated for mold and I guess the door can be popped open with a screw driver.

The management has said that this trailer is the only thing open. My daughter has said it is in the old part of the mobile park and isn’t too inviting and alot smaller of a trailer. Her trailer is a double wide.

What can they do. Their lease is up in October.

Thank you for your time.
