Grandchildren not on rental agreement
Three months after my husband and I moved to an apartment, we ‘inherited’ my two grandchildren ages 16yrs and 7yrs. They obviously are not on the rental agreement since we did not know their parents would abondon their responsibilities as guardians.

We have lived here 13 months, are good tenants, pay rent on time and the children are rarely seen other than leaving in the AM for school. I have offered to the site manager, (who knows about the children), that I would be more than happy to pay any extra charge for their being here but to date, he has not asked for anything. He has never told the owners of the property but I am constantly reminded by him of our danger of eviction because of the children. Please tell me if I have any recourse or do I need to eventually look for a new place. This would deffinately bring a hardship as the children are well established in school and doing wonderful with this secure and loving environment. Please help if your able. I would appreciate it kindly.

Sincerely

Garnishments
My husband purchased a brand new car about ten years ago, before he and i were married. He had it for about 1 yr then it was repossesed by the bank with the understanding that he didn’t have to make any more payments this repossesion satisfied the contract. Ten years later a collection agency bought the supposedly cancel contract. Can the collection agency garnish his or my wages for this debt. I have ask for the bill of sale to see what the car resold for.

buyer agreed to pay for smog check
We recently sold a car and told the buyer it had not been registered or smoged (it was 5 days late) But we told a previous interested buyer that we would accept $500 less our asking price due to the fees and small repairs (not mechanical) So I offered the same deal (500 less) to the next couple, they agreed. We explained the minor things our mechanic ajusted and explained again the fees. They agreed to buy it and take care of it. It did not pass the smog and are requesting we pay to repair and smog it or they will take us to court. They signed a bill of sale stating sold as is and no guarentee or warranty. Plus our verble agreement that they are getting the car for less as long as they take care of the fees. What should I do????
