Proving that I am Innocent in Receiving Stolen Property charges.

Proving that I am Innocent in Receiving Stolen Property charges…
Recently I had bought from a stranger at a local casino, a 71′ datsun ”z” car. The man seemed hard up for more casino money. So, me and a friend checked out the car. It was a tore up looking clunker, but for the price…$250.oo…I could some repairs to it and turn around and sell it for a profit. Well, he didn’t have the pink to it, which is normal…he said he’d send it to me in the mail. He gave me a bill of sales…took out his belongings and went to spend the cash. about a month later…while i am at work i get a call from a police officer who is at my home and is informing me that the car was stolen!!! wow!! all i could think was, ”WHO would steal that thing??” not even thinking that’d I was even in any trouble, he then informed me I would be needing to turn myself in !! So, i do, and find myself spending 5 days in custody. I am now being charged with KNOWINGLY receiving stolen property!!! How do I go about gathering up whatever I may need in order to prove my innocence of KNOWINGLY do anything illegal…only being slightly guilty of being TRUSTING instead????

Auto -Title ownership and criminal issues
I purchased an auto about 25 years ago. With access to the internet of today, I am told it is likely the vin was replaced on a stolen car. I have had the car registered in my name for the past 25 years to what is the vin on the bill of sale. My question is have all the statue of limitations run both in ownership to this auto and any criminal acts. In no way or form did I suspect I was buying or receiving stolen property nor am I able to confirm that at this point. What should I do to clear the title to this auto. Thank you.

I want my bmw back
Hello, i have a problem dealing with my father,( actually many).i bought a new bmw about 3 years ago, i put 13,000 down and was paying the payment for about a year and a half.then one day , my father and i got into , he is also my boss so i got fired from his company, after a couple months icouldn’t pay my car payment because, he got me denied un-employment,so i almost lost my car but, my dad paid it off for me and told me to just pay him payments whenever i get on my feet & can afford to.well, a month later he got mad over something that wasn’t even related 2 the car… and he took my car from me and it has been sitting at his house for almost 1 1/2 now, collecting dust and getting weathered.we never signed or discussed anything about giving he ownership or a bill of sale.after my mom died a couple months ago, he’s been real controlling and bitter he already withheld her life insurance and all her belonging from me, now im scared he might sale my car.. can i go over there and just take it back??im thankful that he helped me,and hope someday i can do the same for my kids….but, thats my car, i got approved, i signed the papers, and i bought the car, not him….please help me …

Can I really be sued?

Can I really be sued???
I sold my ’94 car 1 month ago and am being sued by someone other than the person that viewed/purchased it. Upon purchase they did not test drive it and only looked under the hood after my suggestion. The car was not smogged but I did disclose this information on the date that it was sold. Her uncle has gone through the maintenance records that I turned over and says there are also problems w/the brakes. I did take it in for a check up in Aug. 99 but was told by the service techs that this was something that did not need immediate repair. Unfortunately, I forgot have them sign the bill of sale on the date the transaction took place so I mailed it a few days later and therefore do not have her signature on it. Neither of these people, ever called and asked for their money back they only accused me of lying about the condition of the car. What are my chances that this will get thrown out of court??
