Guardianship of dughters 2 half-sisters
My youngest daughters 2 half-sisters are in fostercare. I have been trying to get them out for 6 months. Their dad has signed a Desugnation of Guardian and Durable Power of Attorney naming me as Guardian. Their mother has been deemed unfit and their father is in jail , on his way to prison. The caseworker and supervisor are trying to force the girls on relatives up in Massachusettes. The relatives have not yet agreed to care for the girls. It has been more than 6 months. I tried to get legal representation through legal aide but an attorney representing another party in the case is in partnership with a member of their board of directors. They say they cannot represent me due to a possible conflict of interest. How would I go about finding an attorney to represent me pro bono, since I cannot afford the astronomical cost of an attorney?, and what are the odds of getting custody of the girls if I were to marry their dad? Would my chances improve. Thank you so much for offering your opinions on this site to people that would otherwise be clueless.

Durable Power of Attorney Rights
As granddaughter, I was durable POA to my grandmother (now deceased), which was passed to me by my mother (deceased). My mother’s sister has requested very detailed information on how my grandmother’s money was spent. Is that any of her business?
Also, as dpoa, am I responsible for any of my grandmothers debts if she did not have enough funds to pay a final nursing home bill? I did sign for her when she went in.
