I have been renting for 5 years in the same Triplex in south Florida. I have a month to month least in which it states the “lawn maintenance” will be maintained by the landlord. Originally my landlord paid another company take care of the yard. The company started rarely showing up so my landlord fired them and got some friend to do our lawn. The man only came occasionally and continually broke stuff and left the lawn a mess. Then that man disappeared. We decided to buy are own equipment and take care of the lawn ourselves for over the last year. Do we have any right to ask a small amount be deducted off our rent for regular lawn maintenance?

Writ of restitution
Working through the district court, I obtained a writ of restitution against a tenant who has not paid rent for over 6 months. The tenant has filed an appeal in the circuit court. Where does this leave me? How long can a tenant, who has obviously not made rental payments, keep appealing his eviction?
The tenant now claims that he owns the property and has produced a fraudulent and forged land contract. Should this matter be taken to criminal court?

I am currently buying a home from someone who just yesterday decided that they do not want to sell it to me anymore. This is after I signed a Contract for Deed a month ago. I have been paying all of he utilities that are in my name, the lot rent and the payment. Now they say that I have 7 days to get out. I did not recieve any written notification. They called me and left a voice mail message. I would like to know what my legal rights are. Should I contact an attorney in my area and dispute this matter. The owner ripped up the contract and through it away and came up with some kind of excuse about me not being able to afford it (which I can more than afford it) and said since somethings have arrisen they want me out by thursday of next week. Can they legally evict me in the state of illinois with a verbal eviction or does it have to be written and delivered in person or taped to the inside or outside of the residence? Is the owner able to just rip up a contract for deed like they did? What are my rights?

We am currently in a two year land contract which only one year has been fullfilled. My boyfriend lost his job and we cannot afford to ”purchase” the home any longer. Lampasas Texas eviction
We were working on a contract for deed with a couple for my husband house in LampasasTexas…we live in MN. The contract for deed has not been signed but they asked for a key to the house to work on the floor. I told them only if they understand that if we can not come to an agreement on the contract for deed they would have to leave. Then behind our backs they moved in, tampered with the lock on the water meter and started using the water, were fined from the city of Lampasas for theft of utilities and have told me one lie or half truth after another. We still have no contract for deed or any other written rental agreement with them and we want them to leave as we no longer want to deal with them. What do I need to do legally to get them out asap!
