My wife and I had one yr lease agreement which ended and turned into a month to month, we feel approx. four months behind on the rent. We both vacated the apartment, her to mothers, and myself, moved to a one bedroom on the same property. I signed new six month lease on one bedroom with just myself as the lease holder and property owner and manager allowed this with the conditon that I pay my current rent with cash and my balance from previous apt. with the condition that I work for the aparment complex on my time off from other job and work done will be applied to the balance. I have been faithful on both ends and now the owner is trying to say no he no longer wants to do that and I need to be out within five days, since my lease agreement for previous apartment ended and new agreement is just myself on it, and I have stayed faithful to my end of things can he just end this new lease on me and try to void our remedy agreement

Redund a security deposit if tenants do not move in
I received a signed lease agreement and $500 security deposit to hold a home on june 15th with a move-in on july 15th. PRevious renters had frauded PGE and PGE removed the meter four days before new renters moved in. Took some work but we got a meter to be installed in time for move in. New reners felt this was bad karma and backed out. they want there deposit back. do i have to return it?

i entered into a lease contract understanding that our leasor was the landlord. My (supposed) Landlord did not inform me that he was subletting to me until my lease agreement was up (9 months), and even then he did not explicitly state this. Without knowledge of my leasor’s initial lease agreement and its standing on subletting, do i have any ground to stand on as far as recouping my security deposit? My leasor is deducting from my security deposit as a result of the property’s condition as it was when I moved in. I have no documentation of the before/after condtion of the property during my tenancy. Thank you for your time and help.

myself has entered into an lease agreement for 3+3+3 years on non-judisial paper with witness from local property dealer almost a year back for under construction shop. Neither get registered & nor possesion being given.
Myself, unemployed now wish to work by myself and terminate the lease agreement.

Hi, I have rented my parents home to some dead beats. I have started the eviction process with a 14-day notice to quit. They were suppose to change the utilities to there name per lease agreement and have not. My parents have received a Pass due notice. After 60 days the Electric light company will disconnect. Should I pay it or not? Or should I serve them with a 48 hours notice that I am disconnecting the service under my parents name? They are 2 mths. without paying rent.
