Landlord Requesting Rent 2 Soon ?
On Oct.22,2006. I signed a lease and paid in full and advance for 6 mos. rent.

My landlord came by last Friday. wanting to know if I was going to continue renting.

I told him that I would consider it, as long as the Electrical problems(after moving in there was several problems discovered, which the landlord will not fix)were completely addressed and fixed.

He continued to ask me to consider renting a room to one of his newest emplyees (just moved here fronm Florida) I had a previous theft problem with his main employee.

He stopped by unannounced 2 nights ago. I didn’t answer the door.

He called today, asking me again to rent a room out.

He was telling me his house pymt is due the first week of the month and if I was going to have the rent.

I paid 6 months in advance for my rent(Last week in Oct.2006) I was assuming my rent is paid up until April 22,2007.

When is my 6 months rental lease up?

Getting out of a rental lease
My lease ended 2/28/08, I received a new one 3/4/08 – the rent was increased slightly – I would like to get out of my lease, however, there is a clause that states if not cancelled 30 days before it ends it rolls over. This is a 1 year lease. Is there any way to get out of it – they say I cannot I am locked in for another year. I still haven’t signed the new lease with the rent increase.

Landlord Tenant Law – Parking spot discrepancy
There is a discrepancy between the parking spot I am currently assigned and the spot that was shown to me before I signed my rental lease. I was told by a neighbor that the owners had switched the original spot with another neighbor before moving out. Then agent is not willing to resolve, saying that the lease stated the current spot. However, description on the lease is ambiguous and may apply to both original and current spots. How can I get my original spot back?
