Motor Vehicle Ownership
In Nov,2001 we sold a car to a couple. They paid cash, refused a bill of sale, were to return following morning to complete transaction. title was in vehicle,7 months later, police impound informs us that our car has been impounded and we need to retrieve it. the title was left early that day at our gate with note please sign need to fix-urgent. We retrieved vehicle and have asked assumed purchaser(not person who orginally purchased from us) to repay all charges pretaining to vehicle. She refused and claims we stole her car. The police had also stripped car of illegal tags. Can we keep the car and ask her to pay charges ? She plans to go to small claims court

Vehicle
In February, I sold a vehicle to a friend and only recieved half payment. I have spent the last few months attempting to get the truck back. Last week it was seized in a raid. My name is still on the title because I was still owed money. The buyer signed my vehicle over to Jasper County after it was impounded. No one asked to see a bill of sale and they took a drug dealer’s word that he had purchased the truck even though it was not in his name. They now want me to sign the title over so that they may re-sell the truck.

Forged Deed
I am an heir to a Estate which the bulk of is a piece of property where my childhood home once was.
The house had burned down in Jan. 2006 and my mother passed away from injuries in the fire in Feb. 2006.
My brothers and I have been unable to agree on how to spit the Estate. I have been maintaining this property for most of my life as well as caring for my parents until each of their deaths, and up to this date paying all bills taxes insurance watering mowing weeding repairing painting etc. My Dad bought the home in 1950 when it was brand new. I have the original deed and bill of sale even pictures of it being built and all through the years of my whole family there. Well I just paid over $4600. in property taxes in Jan. 2008. I file a protest on line at the end of May just before the deadline. I was checking online at the Appraisal District web site and noticed all of a sudden it showed a different owners name.
Someone forged my dead parents names on a deed dated 3-28-08 transfering property to someone else. What do I do to contest this fraudulent deed?
