renter and mate
i have a two part question please.. 1. i lived with my girlfriend, she went to jail, i’m still in the home she had prior to my moving in. there is no lease agreement at all. i’ve been here alone going on six months and the landlord doesn’t seem to have a problem. as long as i keep the rent current, am i safe?
2. No water for a week, landlord has been called 2 times. was suppose to fix it today, he hasn’t shown. What can I do?

Lease agreement
We moved out early but agreed to honor the lease and pay the utilities, as long as the landlord ACTIVELY looked for another tenant. We found that he has only listed the property with one realtor not the the MLRS and is doing extensive renovations on our dime. How can we legally get out of paying for the rent and utilities?
General Power Of Attorney
On what grounds could I contest the liquidation of the estate of my Aunt who is living and in a Rehabiltation Facility for a broken femur, medicare pays for 60 days she has been there a week. Her home is paid for, her lifes savings was $40,000 with income close to $1500 a week, She had a blood clot in Feb. of this year she went home last week of May, around the clock sitters were hired. The problem with this was the power of attorney person was 400 miles away,( I live 18 miles away) now I’m the nephew her sister’s son, the other person is a niece her brothers daughter. The money has been spent in 5 months, now I know the state gets Assets when you go on Medicaid the problem is I’ve been keep in the dark with no communication about anything, I have been in my Aunts life for 62 years I have done a lot for her,she is 93 lives by herself and drove a car until this year. I am deeply troubled that she will be in this home the rest of her life although she had good reports on this place the quality of care has declined drastically. My question is can I get the acounting of liquidation of assets thats taking place now before she goes on medicaid.They are selling everything now also can I put a claim in, like a lot of trips to emergency r
Buying a vehicle when owner has POA
I want to buy a vehicle from a person who has general power of attorney for the registered owner. What do I need to get from the seller, i.e. title, a copy of the POA? How does the person selling sign the title?
When a General District Court Judge grants immediate possession of a rental that is thirty days at a time and nothing in writing; can the renter file an appeal for ten days to come up with bond money? The renter did not appear in court, there has been extensive late pays of almost every month, money has not been received since December, 2009 and they place the elctric bill in their name against the owners wishes. The Judge would not grant any money for the agreement of snow removal, cutting and use of wood and possible theft thereof because nothing was in writing. Again, the rental agreement is verbal only for thirty days and has been in effect since June where they received two weeks free for cleaning. I took the immediate possession decision and his vacate of that family within seventy-two hours to the clerk’s office for the writ, paid, and she decided they would deliver that to the Nelson County Police Department instead of me. I did stop in there and told them of this. I then went back to the clerk’s office where the tenants were standing there and paying for an appeal?????? They police have been contacted regarding messages that have been left, someone coming to this door demanding money they owe and even stating that if I “do not get them off this property someone is going to get killed”. They have accused the owner of taking out some type of criminal something against myself, who he left in charge and I have and do take care of all of the owner’s business for the most part. I took that to the Magistrate also. Then in court I had to wait 15 minutes for them and we had court without them. I attempted to tell the Judge all of these situations and hoped at least one of the Officer’s had enlightened him in the interium.
Can they actually file an appeal with nothing in writing and the granting of an immediate possession?
