Divorce Decree -GA
(no children, no alimony)I pay a sum every month for a second mortgage that we took out before getting divorced. My question is, in the decree it states that husband shall pay said amount, if the husband fails to pay the said amount and causes the wife to default on her mortgage she will keep everything. Now, after we divorced I did a quit claim deed and it (the house) belongs to her anyway. I have also filed bankruptcy since then. Legally, do I still have to pay her?

Your question as posted is unanswerable (we’d have to see the entire divorce paperwork, your bankruptcy case file, and deed to answer). The attorney who handled your case should have explained these things to you. Call him or her.
