Adverse Credit Action due to Divorce
My ex wife was assigned the home mortgage and a home improvement loan as part of her responsibility in the divorce. Both are in my name. She’s defaulted 4 times in a year on the mortgage and stopped paying on the other loan, which is now charged off. My credit is being destroyed a bit more on a monthly basis.

Is there anything I can do to get the credit agencies to stop reporting negatively on those items? Is there any way that I can recover monetary damages from my ex for this (the decree has an indemnification clause)?

Thanks…HELP NEEDED!!!

I was in a corp.

I was in a corp. 2002-2008. We were contractors. The company get sued in October 2009, and a judgement is made in 2010. All the coorespondence went to my ex-partner. Apparently a client “won” $7000.00. Now the indemnity band is telling me that I owe them this money. I asked that they send something, like a contract with my signature on it. They sent me a copy of the bond with both signatures, however THERE IS NO DATE on this contract. The judgement was for a job in 2004, that was never done (nor paid for) although the client claims they paid the company. So my question is can the collection agency attach this to my credit and demand that I pay?

Writ of Execution for Money Judgment (Montco)
I have obtained a money judgment on 7/8, against my former tenants, from the local magistrate for unpaid rent and charges under a residential lease agreement. They have not appealed. How do I go about filing a Writ of Execution in order to try and obtain their personal property to satisfy the judgment? What do I need to file, by when, and where? I know where they now live and continue to work. Thanks.

County court judgement
I was unable to stick to my rental lease contract in Austin, TX because I had break my graduate studies and had to find a job.
I left Austin in October 2005 and have been in other states till now. Now I learn that there is a Travis county court judgement against me. The credit report says I have a liability of $600.
How do I pay this ( I can now because I have a good job)? Directly at the court or to the landlord? The judgement is about a year old. Am I in trouble? My credit history is messed up because of this. I don’t know how to proceed.

How does not paying on a civil judgement effect your credit
Just received a civil judgement against me for the amount of $2,265.00 for breaking a rental lease through an individual and not a company because I bought a house and just could not stay out the lease time. If I do not pay this judgement, could my credit be attacked? Thanks a lot.
