I just bought a car from an individual, He gave me a bill of sale, I went to get a tag for it and the tag office told me there was a lien against the car and I could not get a tag, I informed the seller and he informed me it was my car now and there was nothing he can do. Is there any legal action I can take against this seller?
I think you should go to your local district attorney office. This is fraud and theft by deception. The DA can get your money quicker than a law suit.
