Re: Land contract
I am guessing that you did not have a lawyer review your contract before you entered into this agreement. This is why people should hire attorneys before they enter into real estate transactions. It is a lot easier to prevent problems then to solve them. That being said,
I think that your question is mistated. Whether something is legal or not is really a question concerning whether a law has been broken- not likely.
Your real question is whether there is a breach of contract or fraud; and if so, what can you do to recover your damages.
Your contract would have to be reviewed in order to determine whether there is a breach of contract. You may feel free to contact me and I will look at the land contract.
