Are you sure you’re asking the question you want to ask? A Power of Attorney gets notarized when it is signed by the Principal. After that, it never gets notarized again.

Theoretically, a Power of Attorney is good until it is revoked, or until the Principal dies. Practically speaking, you should have a new one prepared every few years because banks can be a pain in the neck and come up with all sorts of (illegal) excuses for not recognizing the Power of Attorney. But otherwise the PoA is signed and notarized once, and it’s good until death or until it is revoked.

Each new power of attorney needs to be notorized. A power of attorney remains in effect until revoked, or expires on its face.
