our son bought a car, the loan is under his father name and he is the co-signer. the title was put under our son name. since he got married, he is deployed in iraq, his wife took all his money, and he is filling for divorce. she has the car and doesn’t want to give it back. he has made all payments and is paying the insurance. we have power of attorney.can we take the car?can we or he sell the car?

If the car was purchased before your son got married, and he is (or he and his father are) the only one(s) on the title, yes and yes.
If he bought the car after he got married, you’ll have to see who gets awarded the car in the divorce before you can take or sell the car.
