i purchased a car on june 10 2003. Iwent to pick it up in Penn. on the 16th of june. The dealership fedexed me all of the copies of paperwork that i needed to get the car registered in Florida. 3 weeks later they called me and said that the bank would not do the loan. I called and asked and was told that due to me changing employers that the bank would now not finance the loan. as i did what i was to what can i do. I want the car and will pay for it but what legal rights do I have. I have the title with the lien holder and noterized bill of sale with signed contracts. please guide me as to what I can and need to do.

I posted a motorcycle on craigslist for 1500 OBO.

I posted a motorcycle on craigslist for 1500 OBO. A gentleman called me and told me he wanted to buy it, he came by the house and checked out the bike. Said he wanted but all he had was $500.00 on him now. He’d have the rest the following week between tuesday and thursday. I said that’s fine, he asked if he could take the bike in his custody and I told him “no”. I told him what I would do is write up a bill of sale showing the deposit and the stipulations for the bike to be picked up, which consisted of him producing the remaining money. He agreed to it and signed the paper, in good faith I gave him the title (unsigned) to show him I was gonna hold it for him. well on monday of this week he called me to tell me he wasn’t going to be able to buy the bike, that he didn’t have the finances to. I had 5 other buyers call me (that I turned down) and removed the posting from craigslist. well after that I had to repost the listing and take only $1100 for a hit of the $400.00 less to get the bike sold in time for me to purchase my car. on top of that I had to go to the DMV and purchase another title (fast title) which cost me another $87.00 to give to the new buyer that had paid me for the entire amount. Am I entitled to give him back his deposit since he backed out and caused me all this trouble?

stop payment on a check I recently sold my H-D Fatboy.

stop payment on a check
I recently sold my H-D Fatboy. I accepted $7000 cash & the balance $1500 in check form. She had problems & stopped payment on the check. She sign a bill of sale stating I sold her the bike ”as is”. My checking account is overdrawn now & need to know what legal rights I have. Thanks to the internet I live in Florida and she lives in S. Carolina making it even more difficult. I need to know if she is in any criminal violation or if it is just civil? Can i reposess the bike? Have her arressted? Report the bike stolen cause she did not make the full payment? What can I do? Would like to resolve it with out making it a long drawn out ordeal. I just need the money.

Repossing a vehicle from ex-boyfriend
I have a vehicle in my name that my ex-boyfriend wanted to purchase. He tried applying for credit and was denied. We agreed (verbally and emails) that he would make the remaining 30 monthly payments. Once the vehicle was paid off the title would be transferred to him as long as payments were made on time. He has had the vehicle for 9 months and made only 2 payments. To ensure my credit is not harmed I have continued making the payments. Am I legally required to provide him any notice that I am taking the vehicle back? We do not have any official documents (bill of sale, agreement, etc.) signed by either of us on this arrangement other than emails.
