Selling a Used car – ownership transfer?
When selling a used car – does ownership transfer when the vehicle is paid for, vehicle is exchanged, and bill of sale produced or is it when the title is actually transferred? I already sold a car, and am waiting on the title now. Do I still own the car?

new truck
while stationed in afghanistan my brazilian wife traded our vehicle in for a new vehicle utilizing an irs poa and signing my name. i returned the vehicle a few months after my return and they said she would be sued for forgery, they watched her sign the paperwork knowing she didnt have a proper poa and i believe they just took advantage of her. her english isnt that great and they even had her sign 2 different contracts changing the vin# and perc. rate. this took place in louisiana and i have since been reassigned to montana, can the dealer and ford credit be legally responsible for this and what would be my best course of action to clear this up? the loan is still on my credit report and they are still wanting their money for the truck.

Legal Next Of Kin My husband’s father is to ill to make decisions for himself.

Legal Next Of Kin
My husband’s father is to ill to make decisions for himself. He is married, but not to my husband’s mother. His wife has Alziemer’s and is not completely in her right mind. There is no living will or medical power of attorney. My husband is his eldest son, then there is a daughter (both from 1st marriage), an adopted step-daughter and a daughter from current marriage. Who would be the legal next of kin in this case? Or what would we have to do to make my husband legal next of kin? What type of attorney would we have to contact to declare my husband the legal next of kin and able to make medical decisions on behalf of his father?
