Wrongful Termination
I gave my notice to quit the company I worked for because my director yelled at me in front of 5 Co-workers (all men) saying my work was in error, in fact it was not, the information he received was in error. He would not give me a chance to show his information was in error. I felt humiliated and degraded. The next day I talked with the president of the company (he was out of town at the time) explained the problem, he gave me my job back. The next week the president changed his mind and said he was accepting my resignation.
He did give me six weeks of full benifits and full pay. I just received documents from the company that I am to sign and return. The documents say that I quit and the reason was “Too much work”. These documents will damage my work record of 30 years as well as effect my unemployment benifits. HELP!

  1. Re: Wrongful Termination
It is not wrongful termination but under those circumstances you should get unemployment as long as you don’t sign that letter.
