Property left on private land
My mobile home was awarded to the finance company during a bankruptcy in 2002. I paid on the mobile home until recently, when I told the finance company to come and get their home. They gave me less than 8 hours to remove everything from the house.
My neighbor told me that if I placed an advertisement in the state paper saying that anything left on my property after 30 days would become mine.
Is his true? It has been two weeks and they have yet to come pick up the mobile home. If they do not come within the 30 days, does the mobile home become my property free and clear?

No, I’m afraid that 30 days only applies when you don’t know who the owner of property is. Such as, when you find something and don’t know who the owner is.
